I SAW THE STARS THAT BRIGHT

It was a lonely night

Like any other sad one

I saw the stars that bright

I lost the woman I had won



I know that the roses cannot sing

I saw a beautiful butterfly

And I heard my watch that silly thing

And you were just learning to fly



It was an empty night

And it was stressful

I was like a strong knight

And you were beautiful
